I walked along the SouthBank countless times throughout my life but I have never worked at the Royal Festival Hall before so it was great to be invited to photograph a drink reception in one of the main rooms on the fifth floor of the hall. It was a busy evening with a very full room!

It was so full that I had to stick to one camera and one lens for my corporate photos – so I could easily work round the room without knocking over people drinks all night! My task for the evening was to capture as many as people enjoying the night so I focused on working throughly each part of the room and by the end of the night I must’ve walked 20,000 steps!
