I went to Sebastião Salgado’s book signing last night at Taschen bookshop with a couple of friends. It was great to finally see Sebastião in the flesh. I have been looking at Sebastião’s work since I first started being interested in photography when i was a spotty 16 year old. His work is totally mindblowing and timeless. I can’t wait to see his show at the Natural History Museum
This week I was asked to cover the Anglo Portugese event that was being held at the The Pestana Hotel which is very near Chelsea Bridge, the inside hotel is stunning and hopefully i will be able to shoot some more events or weddings there in the near future.
Here are a few photographs from the event.
During the week I do a lot of commercial photography and today I was commissioned to photograph a couple of new flats that have recently been developed, the final images will be used for a interior designer portfolio. Anyway here are couple of shots that i took this morning.
I was commissioned to take Terry Deary portrait for a editorial piece at the end of last year. I don’t tend to read children books anymore but I did found out that Terry is a author of over 200 children books and have sold over 25 million copies in 40 different languages. Pretty impressive stuff!
A couple of photographs taken behind the scenes at the BBC Television Centre for a editorial freelance shoot.
On Saturday I went along to Somerset House to photograph at the London Fashion weekend and it was great fun but those girls almost sprinted down the catwalk so I had to be quick to get decent shots! Here are a couple of my favourite shots from Saturday. You can also see a few frames over at the gallery.
